dc.description.abstractThe influence of the Li and Na salts of 12-tungstophosphoric acid H3P W12O40(WPA) was tested for in vitro effects on blood coagulation. It was found that only Li3WPA shows anticoagulant effects, but compared with WPA activity, the activity of Li salt is diminished. IR spectroscopy was used to define the reaction between these salts, and coagulation proteins. The appearance of bands characteristic of oxonium ion (H3O+) in the IR spectra indicates blocking of the active center of the protein through a very strong hydrogen bond.en
