Quantity and composition of essential oil of the wild plant Nepeta nuda L. from Yugoslavia

dc.description.abstract	The aerial parts of the wild plant Nepeta nuda L. collected in Serbia and the Durmitor region contained respectively 0.67–0.70% and 0.4% oil. Each oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The main constituent was 1,8-cineole; (42.8–63.8%), with the higher level found in the oil of plants harvested in full flower. Other major constituents included germacrene D (1.8–15.0%), β-caryophyllene (3.6–6.9%) and α-terpineol (6.9–7.0%).	en
