dc.description.abstractAn analytical procedure for the determination of ciprofloxacin in serum without previous extraction has been developed. The determination was carried out using iron(III) nitrate as chromogenic agent, with the addition of sodium dodecylsulfate, at pH = 3.0. Absorbance was measured at 430 nn. The range of linearity was between 0.5 - 20.0 mu g/mL with a detection limit 0.2 mu g/mL.en
