HPLC determination of lorazepam and lorazepam-related compounds in pharmaceutical formulations

Abstract
A sensitive, accurate and reproducible high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) procedure has been developed for the separation and analysis of lorazepam and related compounds. A 20-muL sample was separated by reversed-phase HPLC on a 150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5-mum particle, Wakosil column with 0.1 M ammonium acetate (pH adjusted to 6.0 with acetic acid)-acetonitrile-methanol, 1:1:1 (v/v) as mobile phase.
