Abstract
In the roots of Asphodelus albus, originating from Montenegro, the quantity of total anthranoids and relationship between specific types of anthranoid complex (free and glycosilated, oxidized and hydrogenated) during the vegetative cycle are not constant, but show cyclic changes. Based upon the dynamics of observed seasonal variation and modes of usage, optimal periods for exploitation of roots were established.
